Happy Holidays

Fri Dec 26, 2008, 2:23 PM
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa...). It was a beautiful day here and probably one of the most fun Christmases I've experienced in a long time. So it was really great. I really hope all of you had an awesome time, too. =)

The next few weeks might be fun. I was getting a little frustrated with trying to color images on Photoshop with a mouse again, so I bought a Wacom tablet. I figured it would be a good investment since I plan to continue drawing animations, too, and I have so much paper flying around that maybe I should animate through digital imagery instead. I played with it a little bit today. It's so weird, but it's kool. It'll just take some time to get used to.

I also wanted to update here about my current status. I am open for:

* Trades
* Requests (digital only, 8 x 10 or smaller)
~ B&W or Color

* If you want any image larger than 8 x 10 or done in traditional media and sent to you, you can note me and we'll talk. "Payment" will probably be in the form of DA subscriptions. I can't think of any other way at this point. lol

I won't be doing any animation requests or trades at this time. Sorry!

The wacom is tons of fun. I have the same one s:iconsapphire-blackrose: has. The size really does not define the picture, at least that is what I found, so even a smaller pad like mine can still make decent sized picture. That was one of my only worries about getting the one I got but after watching a few wacom videos on youtube I got the perception that size didn't matter too much, which paid off for me at least. I use open canvas for most my stuff since it suits me better. I suppose I can play around with corel painter some time. Yes, this is an advertisement. Everyone go save for one. They are just all around fun to play with.
